Events: FEDERATION GOLF OUTING & FUNDRAISER - JUNE 7th
Federation News The weather has finally broken and its time to dust off the clubs and hit the links .. Make plans early to attend this years Prairie Trail Federation Golf Outing. 
  • When:   June 7th, 2013 
  • Time:   Tee times from 2:00 - 4:00 followed by Dinner 
  • Where: Flagg Creek Golf Course 
  • Who:     Big Braves, Friends, Alumni, Neighbors, Par Shooters & Duffers

News: GIVING TREE FUNDRAISER - KICK OFF AT SPRING CAMPS
Federation News GIVING TREE ANNUAL FUNDRAISER - KICK OFF AT SPRING CAMPS: 
 
Each summer the Greater LaGrange YMCA hosts 10 weeks of summer camp.  About 30% of the kids in the program come from homes that cannot afford to pay for summer day care.  These are not kids from the inner city; these are kids from right here in our community! The Prairie Trail Federation is again sponsoring our annual Giving Tree program to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.   This is a great Civic Activity for your tribe and it will really make a lasting impact on our community.  Click on the following links for more information on the Giving Tree and the YMCA’s summer camp program it supports.

MARCH 2ND: TEST & TUNE
This Saturday is the 2nd annual Test & Tune Pre-race event. 
Want to give that car a try before the big race on Sunday - 
--- Here's your chance:
  • Time:  11 AM to 3 PM  
  • Where:  First United Methodist Church, Cossitt & Madison, 
  • La Grange, IL  Down Stairs meeting room 

March 3rd: PINEWOOD DERBY; Time to start designing and building that super fast - extra special car with the extra special Princess, Guide or Trailblazer.  - Less than 3 weeks until the Checkered Flag will wave.

Still plenty of opportunity to pick up Honor Tribe points especially
with helping the cleanup Sunday 5:45 - 7:00 (or so).

Prairie Trail Federation - Night at the Theater  Madeline's Christmas 
This is a Friend & Family event you won't want to miss! 
Plenty of good seats still available - Grab your Tribe & your neighbors kids and head to the Theatre of Western Springs. 
 
December 6th - at 7:00pm 
Tickets are only $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 
Arrangements can be made to pick up Tickets in advance or they can be picked up at the door. 
Chiefs ... Tickets will be available at the next Longhouse. 
Procrastinators .... Tickets will be sold at the door as well !

Events: Y-mens Tree Sale Volunteer Schedule
Federation News Calling all Big Braves, Princesses, Guides & TrailBlazers! 

As the Holiday Season rapidly approaches, it once again time for our Federation to help the Y-Mens club in their Christmas Tree Sale. 

Nothing is better than the smell of Pine and Hot Chocolate as your tribe helps out a family pick that "Special" tree. Volunteering at this event is a Great start to the kick-off your Holidays.

News: Bike Hike / Picnic - Raffle Winners Announced

Once again this years Bike Hike & Picnic was a overwhelming success 
A Big "How How" to Nation Chief Bob "Running Elk" Basanich,  the Sauk Fox Guides and the Wind River Princess Tribes for managing the event. 

Congratulations goes out to this Years Bike Hike Raffle Winners: 
Haven "Morning Sun" Lisek of the Shawnee Princess tribe
Brendan "Thunderfoot" Whelton of the Mohegan Guides tribe

Also like to have offer a Big HOW HOW to Dan's Bike Shop of Berwyn for once again giving the Federation a discount (plus tax-free for non-profit) for our event.

Federation News
This is a great opportunity to introduce your Friends, Neighbors and your childs classmates to the Indian Guide and Princess programs. This is an informal meeting for parents and children to get a glimpse of what we during the year and at our coveted camp outs. 

Spread the word .. whether by Phone, Email or Smoke Signal, let everyone know to come out and see what the Prairie Trail Federation has to offer. 

The “Pow Wow” Meeting will be held:

Events: All Federation - BIKE HIKE & PICNIC September 9th, 2012

Prairie Trail Federation Bike-Hike & Picnic 

Sunday, September 9th, 2012, Noon – 3pm

Please join us for the first Federation event of the new school year - 
Remember, This is a Patch Event - come on out and earn that 1st patch for your vest ! 

Enjoy free chicken, pasta, hot dogs & drinks.  There will be a climbing wall, live music, a magician and many other activities.   Bring hiking boots or bikes and spend some time in the woods.

Chiefs and Braves, 
Be sure to invite new dads and their families to experience what the Guides and Princesses Program has to offer. If they like what they see, invite them to join. 

You will also have the opportunity to register 
for the new year at the picnic.



Remember All registered Guides & Princesses in attendance will be entered into a raffle for a Brand New Bike ! 

Remember this is an ALL FAMILY EVENT so make sure you bring your Moms and Siblings
