La Grange Road just south of Maple Avenue
Please plan on
arriving between 9- 9:15 as the Parade kicks off at 9:30.
Candy will be
provided for the kids to pass out.

ATTENTION ALL TRAILBLAZERS & 4TH GRADE GUIDES & PRINCESSES
YES, Thats right.. Back by popular demand is the Trailblazer end of summer campout ... August 23rd - August 25th at Camp Tecumseh.
This is not your ordinary Campout ... Of course you will have your favorite activities at Tecumseh, including a competitive game of capture the flag, but you will have access to a several hour canoe trip that passes right by the camp. (The camp pool will be open for our use as well).
Saturday night you can visit Monticello for Bowling and a Drive-in Movie or take an excursion to Indiana Beach Amusement Park.
On Sunday .. You will have the opportunity to play a PAR3 golf course (or canoe if you missed it on Saturday) Followed by a BBQ Lunch at the Camp

The weather has finally broken and its time to dust off the clubs and hit the links .. Make plans early to attend this years Prairie Trail Federation Golf Outing. - When: June 7th, 2013

MARCH 2ND: TEST & TUNE This Saturday is the 2nd annual Test & Tune Pre-race event. Want to give that car a try before the big race on Sunday - --- Here's your chance: - Time: 11 AM to 3 PM

Whirlyball is a game that
blends the accuracy of basketball, the mobility(or lack thereof) of bumper
cars, and the teamwork of lacrosse into one sport. Teams of five compete
against each other to see who can scoop, pass and shoot a Whiffle Ball into a
7’ foot high goal the most times. WHEN: April 7th,
2013, Play begins at 1:00 WHO: Dads, Trailblazers along
with Friends and Families (Moms are invited too)

Events: Kachina Tribe to Host Daddy Daughter Dance February 15th

Kachina Tribe will host their annual Daddy Daughter Dance on February 15, 2013 Where:
The Riverside Golf Club 2520 DesPlaines Avenue Riverside.
When:
February 15th, 2013 - 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm
Activities include:Dinner, Dancing, corsages for the girls and boutonnieres for the dads, special prizes and a professional photo to remember the evening. Proceeds from the event will be used to support YMCA Indian Princess activities as well as local organizations.

Plenty of good seats still available - Grab your Tribe & your neighbors kids and head to the Theatre of Western Springs. December 6th - at 7:00pm Tickets are only $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children Arrangements can be made to pick up Tickets in advance or they can be picked up at the door. Chiefs ... Tickets will be available at the next Longhouse. Procrastinators .... Tickets will be sold at the door as well !

Calling all Big Braves, Princesses, Guides & TrailBlazers!
As the Holiday Season rapidly approaches, it once again time for our Federation to help the Y-Mens club in their Christmas Tree Sale.
Nothing is better than the smell of Pine and Hot Chocolate as your tribe helps out a family pick that "Special" tree. Volunteering at this event is a Great start to the kick-off your Holidays.

Events: Pow Wows - September 5th & 10th

This is a great opportunity to introduce your Friends, Neighbors and your childs classmates to the Indian Guide and Princess programs. This is an informal meeting for parents and children to get a glimpse of what we during the year and at our coveted camp outs.
Spread the word .. whether by Phone, Email or Smoke Signal, let everyone know to come out and see what the Prairie Trail Federation has to offer.
